This project is located in Golden Mile Complex at Beach Road. The title, The Third, derives from the term “Third Place” and it refers to another social surrounding separated from the two usual social environments of a home and a workplace. Focusing on the Food E-Commerce aspect as the future of shopping, it provides a millennial co-working community who peruses in a green food cycle through the café, urban farm and the mini market.

The approach is to create an interactive and open co-working space that is open to the public. This chosen space will be a starting point for more future similar conceptual outlets throughout the whole public areas of the building. Layering and stacking is influenced by the building’s form. It is mostly designed for small e-commerce startup companies with no official appointed space to work. By re-using one of the main purposes of building’s constant visits by outsiders, which is Thai food, a café is added to complement the users while working. Urban farming is added to provide a sustainable food supply to the café and the users.
